Description

Knarr Clough is a late 18th-century house constructed of hammer-dressed watershot stone with a graduated stone slate roof. The house follows a single-depth plan, comprising three bays across and three storeys in height. A blocked door, with a dressed surround, is located to the right of the first bay. Bays one and two feature four-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows on each floor, with a door inserted into the window in the second bay. The third bay represents a later addition and has a three, two, and one-light window arrangement. A blocked door is present in the gable, as are one, two, and four-light windows. A section of the rear elevation is rendered. Gable chimney stacks are a distinctive feature.
