Description

The outbuilding adjoining west of View Banks is a former house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has one bay, with two storeys and a basement. A cart entry, likely added later, is flanked by one-light windows, and there is a two-light window on the first floor where the mullion has been removed. The gable end has a blocked two-light window and a blocked round-headed window at the attic level. The rear of the building includes a seven-light window on the ground floor and a two-light window on the first floor, both with recessed flat-faced stone mullions, though they are mainly blocked. There are also blocked openings at the basement level.
