Description

Ashley Castle Mill Bridge is a road bridge dating from the late 18th century to the 19th century. It features a single wide span of approximately 25 feet, with a segmental arch made of ashlar stone. The arch has voussoirs that are diminished at the top by a band, and there is a stone parapet above. The lower underside of the arch has blocks, and there is a cypher located on the left squinch on the downriver side. Part of this bridge extends into Ringway Civil Parish in Manchester, Greater Manchester.
