Description
The walls, gate piers, and gates of Didsbury Methodist Church of St Paul are located on the north and west sides of the churchyard. They were likely built around 1875 and are constructed from coursed squared sandstone rubble and sandstone ashlar. The walls feature pitched copings and upstands at regular intervals, which were once used for railings. In the west wall, there are two pairs of Gothic gate piers topped with octagonal spires, along with double wrought-iron gates designed in a Gothic style. The north wall has a simpler style with one pair of gate piers and a single gate. This structure is included for its group value.
