Description

The cottage located to the north of Sissinghurst Farmhouse is likely from the 17th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and has two storeys. The building features two mullioned windows; the left one has three lights, while the lower right-hand window has four lights, both with drip-moulds above them. The left gable includes a central doorway with a large lintel and split, chamfered piers, along with a small window above. The roof is made of stone slabs, and there are chimneys at the central ridge and the left-hand gable. At the right-hand end of the cottage, there is an advanced single-storey outbuilding made of rubble with a slate roof.
