Description

The Church of St Andrew was built between 1875 and 1877 by architect J Lowe. It is constructed from rock-faced coursed rubble and primarily features a lancet style. The church includes a nave, an apsidal choir, and tall transepts, along with small lean-to aisles and porches on the north and south sides. A three-stage north-west tower is topped with a spire that has pinnacles around its base and features two-light louvred windows in the upper stage. The west side of the church is adorned with a five-light window.
