Description

Christ Church was built between 1831 and 1832 by Richard Kay. It is constructed of stone in the Gothic Revival style and features a west tower. The church has an aisleless body with lancet windows. Originally, it had galleries on three sides, but all except for the west gallery have been removed. Inside, there is a pulpit, lectern, and stalls that were taken from Bury parish church, likely dating from around 1840 to 1850.
