Description
Coggra Fold Farmhouse is a 17th-century L-shaped stone house. Many of its walls have been rebuilt in brown brick. The shorter wing features a massive projecting chimney adorned with remarkable plaster decoration that depicts a tree supporting a form of cross and something resembling a thistle. The outer side of this wing appears to be from the 18th century, with multi-light windows on both floors. The outer front of the longer wing was remodeled in the early 19th century to create a pair of dwellings, while a further dwelling at the outer end is not of special interest. The opposite end has another large projecting chimney that displays relief letters 'TB' on an offset. Inside, the farmhouse has beams with large ovolo mouldings and a stone slab roof.
