Description

This is a long row of 19th-century workers’ cottages, numbers 13 to 28, built in the early 1800s. The cottages are constructed of stone and each has one window. Stone sills are present, and the doorways have stone architraves. Numbers 17 and 18 have had curved, Georgian-style bows inserted into their frontages. The area in front of the entire row is paved with stone flags, and the forecourt is surfaced with stone setts.
