Description

Nos 11 and 12 Mount Pleasant are a pair of stone mill workers' cottages built in the first half of the 19th century, located on the north-eastern corner of the square. The cottages feature chamfered stone mullioned windows in the cellar, which suggest they may have an earlier origin. Each cottage has two upper storeys and has been altered with the addition of two modern "Georgian" bow windows.
