Description

No. 31 Ramsay Street is a house built around 1840, which is part of a separate phase but continues the architectural style of Nos 653-661 Blackburn Road. The building features coursed and squared stone with a slate roof. It has two storeys and a two-window range, with the entrance located to the right within a round arched architrave. The windows, which do not align, have been renewed in their original openings and feature wedge lintels on the ground floor. There is a low window in a blocked doorway to the left, which has a plain stone lintel and may have once served as a passage entry. The house has end wall stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
