Description

No. 40 Naishes Street is a house built around 1693, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and a refurbishment around 1980. The building is constructed from thin coursed limestone rubble and features an interlocking clay tile roof. It is a single cell, double depth, three-storey house. The front has one window with 16-pane sash windows, which are modern replicas, set in a blocked rendered surround. There is also a six-panel door, also a modern replica, in a blocked rendered surround. The house has two ridge stacks, with the one on the left serving No. 39. The interior has not been inspected.
