Description

This is a telephone box located at the junction of Daresbury Road and Chester Road. It is a Type K6 telephone box, designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. The box is made of cast iron and is painted red overall. It features long horizontal glazing with margin panes in the door and sides. There is a crown above the telephone opal on the front, back, and each side of the box. Situated in the village centre, the box has group value with the Sessions House and the Church of All Saints.
