Description
The Red Lion Public House is a late 17th-century building that has undergone some alterations. It is constructed of whitened brick and features a slate roof. The structure is two storeys high and has four bays. There is a brick band that is three courses deep at the first-floor level. The entrance has a boarded door and an arched opening with a blank fanlight above it, along with renewed casement windows. A wooden bracketed cornice adds to the exterior detail. Inside, there are bevelled beams and an inglenook beam.
