Description
Manor Farm House is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been heavily restored. It is constructed from sandstone, brick, and timber framing, topped with a tiled roof. The building is two stories high and consists of three bays, including a projection at the west gable. The gable features a stone ground floor with renewed timber framing on the first floor. The stone section on the east side has an entrance door flanked by large mullion and transom windows. A moulded string runs at the level of the ground floor window heads, rising over the moulded lintel of the entrance door and continuing around the gable projection. First floor windows include timber mullions in a dormer, a half dormer, and at the apex of the gable. There is a later brick section on the east side of the building. Both the main and dormer roofs have crested ridges. Inside, there are bevelled beams and ledged doors with old hinges.
