Description
Moore Hall is an early 18th-century mansion situated on Hobb Lane in Moore. The building is constructed of roughcast brick with a slate roof, displaying five bays and three storeys. The facade features parallel rusticated quoins and a cornice at the second-floor level. A modern stone-dressed porch fronts a Venetian window, which in turn frames a six-panel door with a radial bar fanlight on the north side. The sash windows have glazing bars and stone sills, with only three windows remaining at the second floor level. A stone eaves cornice and gable coping complete the exterior.
Inside, a softwood staircase is characterised by a swept rail, carved balusters, and a panelled dado. A hall arch features a carved spandrel, and the first floor is adorned with ovolo-moulded fielded panelling.
