Description

Moore Bridge is a road bridge over the Bridgewater Canal in Moore Village, built around 1772. It is constructed of red brick with a stone carriageway and parapet. The bridge has a steep hump and is only wide enough for one vehicle, but it flares out at both approaches. The arch of the carriageway is made of exposed stone, with a brick soffit.
