Description

Old Hall Farmhouse is an early 18th-century former farmhouse, now divided into two dwellings, located on Runcorn Road in Moore. The building is constructed primarily of brown brick with a slate roof. It is two storeys and has an attic, originally arranged as a two-bay structure. A stone plinth runs around the base, and stone quoins are present on both the front and rear elevations, rising only a few feet above ground level. A 19th-century four-panel door with glazed upper sections is set within a moulded frame. The windows are very early sash windows, retaining their exposed weight boxes, arch turning pieces, and multiple glazing bars. Gable copings are present, along with end stacks. The rear roof slope is finished with stone slates, while the front has large Welsh slates. The gable apexes are rendered.
