Description

Halton House is a house built in 1779, constructed from brown brick and topped with a sandstone slate roof. It has two storeys and features three bays. The building is accented by rusticated stone quoins. The stone doorcase includes eared architraves, a keystone, a pulvinated frieze, and a pediment with an inscribed tympanum, leading to a six-panel door. The windows are designed with screwback rusticated heads, keystones, stone sills, and recessed sashes. Gable chimneys are present, and the wooden eaves cornice has been altered to accommodate an eaves gutter.
