Description
Whitegate House is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of rendered brick with a slate roof. It stands two storeys tall with an attic. The entrance front features three bays arranged symmetrically. At the center is a wooden gabled porch, above which is a cross window on the first floor, with a band at the sill level that extends across the entire facade. Flanking the porch are slightly projecting gabled wings, each with canted bay windows on the ground floor, hipped roofs, and cross windows on the first floor. Each shallow gable includes a 2-light casement window and has decorated bargeboards and bargeposts. The house also has two lateral chimney stacks.
