Description
Nos. 100 and 102 Foregate Street is a small town house that has been converted into a shop and storage space. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brown brick in Flemish bond, with some parts rendered. It has three storeys and features a single bay. The shopfront, likely from around 1900, has been altered and includes a central recessed entrance, panelled aprons beneath the windows, and end pilasters with consoles. The first floor has a rendered area below the sillband, with two flush sash windows that have had their bars removed, and rusticated wedge lintels with keystones. The second floor has two similar but shorter sash windows. A modillion cornice is situated beneath a seven-course parapet that has moulded stone coping. The interior has not been inspected.
