Description
Nos. 6 and 7 Bridge Street is a shop built between 1815 and 1820, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring orange-red brick dressings and a steel shopfront. It has a timber modillion eaves cornice and a slate mansard roof. The structure is three storeys tall with an attic and has a two-window front. The entrance is located in the shopfront. The first and second floors have 12-pane sash windows with painted stone sills and flat arches made of gauged brick. There is a tie rod end embossed with a fleur-de-lys situated between the windows on the second floor. The interior has not been inspected.
