Description

No. 8 Bridge Street is a shop built around 1820, featuring a late 19th-century shopfront. The building is constructed of painted brick in Flemish bond and has a hipped slate roof with a timber dentil and modillion eaves cornice. The exterior is three stories high with a two-window front. The shopfront includes grooved pilasters, a modillion cornice, and panelled risers. The sash windows on the first floor are 4-pane, while the second floor has squat 6-pane windows, all with painted stone sills and flat arches made of gauged brick, which are now painted. The interior has not been inspected.
