Description

Kidbrook is a cottage, likely built in the mid-17th century, which has been altered and renovated over time. The structure features oak small framing that is mostly rendered, topped with a thatched roof. It is one storey high with attic bedrooms and consists of three rooms along with a modified rear wing that originally had one room. The windows are replaced 6 and 4-pane casements, likely set in their original openings, and there are two thatched eyebrow dormers on the front. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have a lobby entrance, an inglenook fireplace, chamfered oak beams, and a significant amount of exposed oak framing visible in the lower storey.
