Description
This building is a cottage located in Comberbach, likely dating from the late 17th century, which has been altered and extended over time. It features brick-nogged oak small-framing, with extensions made of brick and a clay tile roof. The cottage has one storey plus attic bedrooms. The gable facing the road has a replaced casement window on each storey. There is an outshut on the right side, probably from the mid-19th century, which includes an open porch supported by a timber post and has a lean-to roof, typical of the late 19th century. The original 17th-century structure consists of two bays, with an additional vernacular bay at the rear that continues under the same roof. There are three gabled dormers above the porch and outshut on the right side. Although the interior could not be inspected, chamfered beams are visible.
