Description

Woodbank is a former farmhouse and farm building that has been converted into two houses with an attached garage. It dates from the 18th century, although the facade was added in the early to mid-19th century. The building is constructed of stuccoed brick and features a Welsh slate roof with five ridge brick chimneys. It has a long rectangular plan and is two stories high with a seven-bay front. The facade includes a castellated parapet on a moulded cornice. The windows consist of 16-pane sashes on the lower level and 12-pane sashes above, both with intersecting glazing bars in the upper lights and heavy label moulds. There are doors in the second and sixth bays, each with 4-centred arched heads and label moulds, and these doors have four recessed panels with cusped mouldings. To the left, there is an extension in washed brick that now serves as a garage and has a blocked circular pitchhole. The interior has not been inspected.
