Description
Stanthorne Lock is a canal lock built around 1793. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings. The lock has a rectangular shape and features two sets of gates, along with a drain hole located to the right of the upstream side. The brick walls are edged with stone, and there is a single gate at the upstream end and double gates at the downstream end.
