Description

The stable located on the east side of the yard behind the Queen's Head Hotel dates from the late 17th century and has been altered. It features a front gable made of tooled coursed red sandstone, with the lower parts of the other walls constructed from brown brick in an irregular English garden wall bond. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a coped gable on kneelers at the front. Inside, there are wooden stalls with hayracks, which are in good condition, although the loft is not accessible.
