Description

No. 84 on Main Street is a house dating from the 17th century. It features an oak frame with plaster panels and a graded grey slate roof, supported by a sandstone plinth. The building has two storeys and three windows. The small framing includes two braces beneath the coved eaves. There is a ridge chimney opposite the door and a flush gable chimney to the right, both made of brick. The original 6-panel door has been replaced. The lower storey has two 3-light and one 2-light small-pane casements, while the upper storey has two 2-light casements and one central 3-light casement. The interior has not been inspected.
