Description
No. 90 on Main Street is a shop that dates back to the 17th century but was refronted in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brown brick and features a grey slate roof. It has two storeys and two windows. The entrance includes a door with six fielded panels located on the right side, while on the left, there is a small canted bay window with two vertical bar panes at the front and two horizontal bar panes on each side. The upper storey has two six-pane casements. A central chimney is positioned behind the ridge of the roof. Inside, the shop has oak beams, and at the rear, there is a coursed red sandstone wall that extends through both storeys, along with some work in small bricks typical of the 17th century. The building is listed for its group value.
