Description
The sundial located in the churchyard of St. Peter dates from 1731 and is made of red sandstone. It features a circular nosed base that supports a tall, simple baluster, which is set into a square plinth. Atop the sundial is a square capstone that holds a well-crafted brass plate. The plate is inscribed with the following text: "Ion PRESCOT REC. R I : E S : A CHURH WARDENS 1731". The sundial is positioned in the village of Waverton.
