Description

This is a cottage, likely dating from the mid-17th century, that has been altered over time. The exterior is pebbledashed with a grey slate roof. It is two storeys high plus an attic, and has two windows. A replacement boarded door is present. The windows are 3-light casements with replaced glass. Flush gable chimneys are visible. A rear wing extends from the main cottage.

Inside, the lower storey of the front portion has been combined into one room, retaining a probable 17th-century oak beam. A section of oak small framing is visible in the back wall. The rear wing contains oak beams. The upper storey retains a substantial proportion of oak framing. The attic features oak framing, with oak purlins in the left bedroom damaged by fire. Additionally, one diagonal windbrace is present.
