Description

This is a pair of cottages located on Main Street in Frodsham, built in the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed with brown Flemish bond brickwork and have a graded grey slate roof. They are two storeys high with two windows on each floor. A painted sandstone plinth is visible at the base. Each cottage features a six-panel door in a moulded case, with a stone step leading up to it. There are 12-pane flush sash windows to each side of the cottages, and two to the upper storey. A boarded door provides access to the yard from the left side. The lower windows and the entry doorway are topped with cambered skewback arches. There are two gable chimneys. The interiors have not been inspected. The cottages are listed for their group value.
