Description
Ivy Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was reconstructed in 1983. It features a timber-framed structure sitting on a sandstone plinth, topped with a thatched roof and a central brick ridge chimney. The cottage has a two-room plan and is one storey high with a three-bay east front. The front includes six by two tall small frames with passing braces. The windows are small two-light casements, and there is a new central door that has a gabled hood. There are small lean-to extensions at either end of the building. Inside, the cottage showcases exposed ceiling beams and joints.
