Description

The parish boundary stone, dated 1789, is located in the front garden of number 69 on Peel Street in Macclesfield. This stone block features a shaped curved head, with the letter "S" inscribed on one face representing Sutton, and the letter "M" on the opposite side for Macclesfield. The date is now partly buried in the ground.
