The south gable has two six-panel doors, one giving access to the gallery at first floor level. Interior: A gable door leads into a small hall with wall staircase, two walls with oak dado panelling and one with full height panelling. The straight flight of stairs, said to come from Shavington Park, Shropshire, has turned balusters and massive square newels with moulded caps. The roof has two original oak king post trusses, oak purlins and ridgetree.
