Description

Squire's Well is a well head dated 1862, constructed from coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings. It is set into a retaining wall at the side of the road and features a raised lip with a pointed arched top made of two stone slabs. The left slab is inscribed with "The Squire's" and the right slab reads "Well 1862." Above this, there is an additional stone set into the wall that states "To do Good Forget Not."
