Description
Park Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features a wide three-window range. There is a small central pediment and an off-centre doorway located in a rustic gabled porch with overhanging eaves. The casement windows with small panes flank the doorway, with the window to the right being taller than the outer windows on either side. There is an additional sash window to the right. The upper windows are also three-light casements, all featuring flat-arched brick heads. The eaves overhang, which has a chevron patterned fascia, is prominent, and the pediment is created from a strong eaves overhang with a chevron pattern and a central pendant finial. The house has end wall and axial stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
