Description

This gravestone, located in St Boniface's Churchyard, dates from the early 16th century. It consists of two thick red sandstone slabs placed side by side, laid horizontally but carved to slope away from the butt joint, resembling a pitched roof. Each slab features a three-step Calvary base and a cross shaft with a very high cross tree. There is no visible inscription, except for the reference number 581.
