Description
Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 19th century, with a late 17th century rear wing on the south side. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a tiled roof. The southern section combines both brick and timber framing with brick nogging. The farmhouse has two storeys, with a two-bay facade on the north side and a four-bay south wing. The entrance consists of a boarded door with false strap hinges, sheltered by a monopitch bracketed hood. The windows are three-light casements with single glazing bars, featuring cambered arches on the ground floor and gabled dormers with timber infilling and finials on the first floor. The first part of the return wing is made of brick and includes a small hexagonal bay window. The timber-framed section displays panels of varied sizes and long diagonal braces, with a dormer in this area featuring a raking roof. Inside, the timber-framed section reveals exposed beams and joists.
