Description
The gatepiers and gates located approximately 15 yards southwest of the Chapel of the Holy Trinity date from around 1750, with 20th-century piers. The piers are made of brick with stone dressings and have a square plan. They feature stone plinths, brick bodies with stone hinge dressings, and stepped stone caps topped with ball finials. The gates are wide and made of wrought iron, each having arched centers and panels designed in the Milanese Rococo style, adorned with statues of St Andrew holding his cross at the upper center of each gate.
