Description

Nursery Lane Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of red English garden wall bond brick and features a thatched roof. The building has two cells and is two storeys high. The entrance front consists of four ground floor bays, with posts at the corners and center that have angle braces. There are two-light casement windows on both the left and right sides, and a door located at the far right. To the right of the door, there is a 20th-century outshut that has a painted panel above the door. The left-hand gable end was rebuilt in the 20th century and includes a central gable stack, along with two ground floor and two first floor windows.
