Description
This is a late 17th-century house located on the Warrington Road in High Legh. It is timber-framed with a red stretcher bond brick exterior and a slate roof. The building has an L-shaped two-story plan. The entrance front is divided into five bays by two bays on the right and five bays on the left. The right side shows small timber framing, while the left side features angle braces. A 19th-century attic dormer window is present on both the right and left sides. The gable end on the left has three bays by two bays of small timber framing with angle braces. All windows are 20th-century replacements. A 20th-century gabled addition extends from the left side of the building.
