Description
The Fox Inn, located on London Road, is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century, although it has undergone significant alterations. The original wing on the right-hand side features modern roughcast and is one storey plus an attic. It has three modern casement windows and one box dormer, along with a plain doorway that has a modern glazed porch. There is also another later doorway at the center. The roof is covered with cedar shingles, replacing the earlier thatch, and there is a modern single-storey bay on the right-hand side. The interior has been much altered but still retains some exposed ceiling beams on the ground storey. To the left, there is a later two-storey wing with a projecting gabled bay.
