Description
School House Cottage is a house dated 1841, built by the Toft Estate. It is constructed of painted brick and features an overhanging Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with a central entrance located in a gabled porch. There are two wide gables with plain bargeboards above the upper windows. The ground floor has three-light casement windows, while the upper floor has two-light casement windows, both with leaded lights and stone hoodmoulds. Similar windows are present on the return elevations. Above the porch, there is a stone featuring a coat of arms and the date in low relief. The house has a central polygonal stack. The interior has not been inspected.
