Description

The southern range of service buildings at Combermere Park is an early 19th-century structure made of red brick with a slate roof, standing two storeys tall. The court facade features a slightly projecting clock tower on the right, which has angle buttresses on its lower body. Above the lower two storeys, the clock stage displays a circular clock face with Gaelic numerals and pointed arrow slits on either side. Similar clock faces are found on each side of the tower. The tower is topped with a pyramidal roof that has an octagonal wooden bell cote at its center, featuring pointed arched louvred openings and wooden hood moulds, along with a projecting parapet above.

To the left of the clock tower, the range of farm buildings includes outshuts at ground floor level. There are 20th-century window openings and a doorway, along with a 19th-century doorway in the second bay from the left, which has a four-centered archway. The rear of the building has projecting two-storey wings with hipped roofs on both the right and left sides. The left wing features double 20th-century garage doors at ground floor level, with single-light windows on either side and double loft doors on the first floor. The right wing has a 3-light casement window on the ground floor and a 2-light window above. Between these wings, there are seven ground floor windows, all with Tudor hood moulds, and each consisting of two or three lights.

This building is included for its group value.
