Description
Cherry Tree Cottage is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is timber framed with brick infill, a stone plinth, and a tile roof. The building has two storeys and may have a baffle-entry plan. The left-hand gable end features four sets of four cells of small framing, with angle braces in the upper corners. On the ground floor, there is a four-light window, while the first floor has a three-light gabled window. The entrance front has ten sets of four cells of small framing, some of which are painted to resemble brick. There are angle struts at the left-hand corner and the sixth bay from the left. The ground floor has a doorway to the right of centre, two two-light casement windows, and a three-light casement window on the first floor.
