Description

Oak Cottage is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It features brickwork in English garden wall bond and a thatched roof. The layout consists of three cells in a baffle-entry plan. On the entrance front, there are doors to the right of centre and to the left, suggesting that the building may have been converted into two cottages at some point. There are three-light casement windows to the left of centre and right, along with a two-light window to the left. A swept dormer window is located to the left of centre. Inside, the ground floor displays chamfered timbers, while the first floor has chamfered purlins.
