Description
Colley Mill Bridge is a road bridge dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, constructed of ashlar stone. It features two segmental arches. On the downstream side, there is a central angled cutwater that rises to create a pedestrian embrasure at the level of the parapet. Each arch is adorned with voussoirs and hood-moulds. The left-hand abutment flares outwards at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. Half of the bridge is located within the area of Congleton District Council and is included under the listing for that district.
