Description

Rode Hall Farmhouse is an early to mid-19th century farmhouse constructed of red brick in a garden wall bond pattern, with ashlar dressings and a stone slate roof. The front elevation features a central doorway with a fanlight above. Two-light mullioned windows with flat-arched heads sit on either side of the door, with central mullions and sash windows containing 2 x 4 panes of glass. Similar windows are present on the first floor, with a central window featuring 2 x 2 panes. Gable ends incorporate lunette windows, with the left-hand window partially blocked. The rear of the farmhouse has two ground floor and two first-floor casement windows, also with mullions. Originally, the first-floor rear windows contained sash lights similar to those on the front of the building. A central downpipe is also visible.
